Photographer’s Notes

Through my images, the unique, once in a lifetime events that transpire are preserved for you to have and share. I work in a very relaxed style, encouraging and accepting direction and ideas from you.

On your wedding day I have a few tips that will help make the most out of the time you have to enjoy.

Have someone assigned to help the photography and video crew. Auntys and Uncles love to help and they should know most of the people in your photos. Let the person you designate know what photos you want, too. Make sure your photographer and that person have spoken with each other beforehand so that they can work together to make the most of their time with your photographer. The more time you set aside before the ceremony for photos, the more relaxed you guys will be and the more time the photographer has to get the photos that really capture the true emotions of this great day. The time you put in at the beginning makes it quicker and easier for the day. If you want photos taken at a spot away from the ceremony or formals, figure drive time into getting back and forth from that destination. Make sure you drive it and check out the location. Make sure your photographer is familiar with the area. The more time you put into planning, the more time you will have during the day to just enjoy and have fun. All are Loved. Love is really the only answer, I think.
Leave to photographic recording to me. I got you covered.

I create portraits for myself as well as you. I do not take photos. I make portraits.

At the end of our day it is really important to me that I know I have it All.

My photography style reflects the individuality and emotion in each image as you should enjoy your celebration naturally – I have no agenda. I am dedicated to providing my clients with reliable, quality, personalized work – customized to suit the needs of each couple. I do not shoot thousands of photos however, I create hundreds of images. I do a very very small edit. I will give you all the originals made. You will want them to be sure. You will also receive a FULL RESOLUTION CD of all photos taken for FREE.

Photojournalism
A wedding is a collection of multiple vendors, family members and friends all moving in different directions to prepare for one thing; your walk down the aisle. All of the action surrounding that walk down the aisle is what wedding photojournalism is all about. The getting ready, the guests arriving, the venue being hand decorated with personal touches, the contemplation, the rejoicing, and the joining of family all need to be captured with a good photographers eye. Wedding photojournalism captures the flow and the emotion of the day as we all gather to witness your marriage. For me it is about the “Wow, wait a minute, how did he get that shot”. It is about the unexpected and that huge smile on your face. It is all about Love in this or any lifetime, I think.
